Anthony Renna
 Anthony is a Level 3 Certified Golf Fitness Instructor (Titleist), Level 2 Junior Golf Coach (Titleist), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), and a Sports Performance Coach (USAW) who works with elite and recreational golfers.

Anthony's love for golf started over 30 years ago, when he was a caddie at Century Country Club in Westchester, NY.




 He is the founder Five Iron Fitness, as well as GolfFitnessProducts.net, a resource for all things golf fitness and BetterGolfwithFitness.com, a blog discussing the current issues in golf fitness. 

When Anthony is at Five Iron, you can bet that if the Golf Channel is not on, the NHL Network is.

  Ryan Berthod
  Ryan Berthod is a former client of Five Iron Fitness from his high school days at Iona Prep. As a standout tennis player, he went on to play Div. 1 tennis at Fairfield University.  Berthod graduated from Fairfield in 2010 as the Stags' combined victories leader.  He is now in his first season as an assistant coach.

Ryan is an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified fitness trainer with a passion for helping people become better movers.  He has a special interest in shoulder injury prevention and nutrition.

At Fairfield, Ryan earned All-MAAC Second Team honors in both singles and doubles during his senior campaign, going 18-14 overall in singles and 26-13 in doubles. He also advanced to the Round of 32 doubles at the ITA Regionals. As a junior, he was named to the All-MAAC Second Team for singles and the First Team for doubles and helped the Stags to a 2009 MAAC Regular Season Championship. He partnered with Dan Sauter to go 17-3 overall, 15-2 in duals and 6-0 in the MAAC en route to a national ranking of 61st.

Berthod, who graduated with a degree in music business and production, also excelled in the classroom as he was a three-time All-MAAC Academic Honor Roll and All-MAAC All-Academic Team selection.

Other stuff:  Graduated Iona Prep in 2006, led team to a CHSAA Championship.  Taught Junior Tennis Academy at New York Athletic Club for 3 years.  Also taught private lessons to nationally and regionally ranked juniors. 

CPR/AED Certified by the American Red Cross.
